Iran is a sworn enemy of USA and by that I mean the central islamist government but “50% say they believe Iran is an enemy of the U.S., while only 1% consider Iran an ally.

Still, of the 1,512 survey respondents, only 16% support U.S. involvement in the war, with 60% opposed and 24% are not sure. The opposition to U.S. involvement includes 65% of Democrats, 61% of Independents, and 53% of Republicans.

Only 23% of Republicans and 19% of those who say they voted for Trump say they support U.S. involvement.”

Meanwhile, 56% of the 1,511 surveyed, including 58% of Democrats, 51% of independents, and 61% of Republicans, say the U.S. should negotiate with Iran.

63% of Trump voters said that the U.S. should negotiate instead of resorting to war. Only 18% of Trump voters say that the U.S. should not negotiate with Iran.
