Leftists claim to want freedom but ignorantly cheer for what they do not realize is tyranny.
Actually, what the Left think they want is something different—but those who become saddled with true tyranny eventually realize it is not something different worth having.
This from frontpagemag.com.
In Los Angeles, protesters rallied against President Trump in themed ‘No Kings’ protests in places where people were forbidden to go by the Newsom regime a mere 5 years ago. How quickly they have forgotten. Having conducted their lives remotely must have dulled their memory capabilities.
Those of us who are politically conservative well know:
There are no kings in California, just government bureaucrats who were able to rule more ruthlessly than most kings and forbid even the most ordinary average everyday activities like going to the beach or meeting up with family members or going to school.
A king would have been far less onerous than California’s actual rulers. And less corrupt and abusive.
For this recent protest, the marchers who were made (and paid) to imagine they were protesting against some (phantom) tyranny and for some even more elusive freedom were in all actuality doing the bidding of a vast nationwide network and more specifically the local political establishment that goes back to Gov. Newsom as its creator.
Sadly, that vast network is one which occupies each legislative session banning new things. In fact, living in California means discovering new regulations and new losses of liberty each and every legislative session. And there is no telling when once again, Californians will be banned from sitting on park benches or going to church or synagogue, or simply congregating.
And flying obtrusively above the mob which was denouncing the kings we do not actually have while submitting to the ‘czars’ we do have, was the transgender flag. Hypocritically, no kings—only drag queens and government bureaucrats.
Those of us living in blue state flyover country can see the hypocrisy being demonstrated here. The Californians? Not a chance.
