Democrats in Washington seem to think laws are just suggestions. This is especially true when it comes to immigration laws. They know full well that people here illegally are supposed to be deported. It’s the law, written clear as day for everyone to see.
But instead of upholding these laws, many Democrats do the opposite. They seem to encourage a breakdown of order. They fan the flames, fueling angry protests that often turn violent and put the lives of ordinary, law-abiding Americans at risk. It’s a dangerous game they’re playing with our safety.
And if you thought that was bad, just wait. The latest example of this upside-down thinking comes straight from a Democrat in Congress. It’s a real head-scratcher that shows just how far the party has strayed from common sense. California Representative Sydney Kamlager-Dove actually compared enforcing our immigration laws to an act of war on our own people.

“I would argue that this is not immigration policy that we’re seeing unfold. This is domestic terrorism.”
That’s right, she called the work of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “domestic terrorism.” She claimed ICE was “terrorizing communities” by detaining illegal immigrants, even those just going about their day. According to her, agents are “snatching people” and carting them off. This is what happens when the Left truly loses its mind. Enforcing the law is now “terrorism” in their book.
But regular Americans aren’t buying this nonsense. Polls show that most people want our laws enforced. A recent CBS poll found that 54 percent of Americans approve of deporting illegal immigrants. Another poll by RGM Research showed 58 percent support these efforts. The same poll found 52 percent of Americans even approved when the National Guard was sent to Los Angeles to deal with anti-ICE riots. So, who is out of touch here?
This kind of talk from a congresswoman isn’t just silly; it’s dangerous. Labeling our law enforcement officers as “terrorists” is an insult to the brave men and women who work to keep us safe. It pours fuel on the fire and encourages more of the lawlessness we’ve seen in cities run by Democrats. This is the party of lawlessness, and their words have real, damaging effects on our country and its security.
It makes you wonder when common sense completely left the Democrat party. Calling our immigration officers terrorists is beyond belief. This isn’t just a policy disagreement anymore; it’s a sign that some have truly lost their grip on reality. Americans deserve leaders who respect the rule of law, not those who call it terrorism.
