The Justice Department has put United States attorneys on notice to be ready for criminal investigations stemming from this weekend’s national anti-Trump protests if they turn violent, which is highly likely given the heated political climate.
In the first major organized action of President Donald J. Trump’s second term, the “No Kings” events, which organizers boast is a “nationwide day of defiance,” will take place on Saturday, billed as a protest of the president’s Washington, D.C. military parade marking the Army’s 250th anniversary.
“As we’ve said repeatedly, the Department respects the right to peacefully protest & assemble to engage on important issues,” a Justice Department spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “However, the Department and its 94 US Attorney Offices will not tolerate unlawful violence & destruction of property.”

The “No Kings” website is pushing the big lie that the parade isn’t one to celebrate the military, but to honor Trump himself.
“President Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else,” the “No Kings” website states.
Saturday, June 14, is also Flag Day as well as Trump’s 79th birthday, two more reasons for Democrats and their leftist goons to throw their latest temper tantrum.
“No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like,” the website states. “We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.”
“The flag doesn’t belong to President Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it,” the organizers declare.
When asked about the “No Kings” uprising against him during a Thursday press conference on his executive orders to prevent California from forcing residents to adopt electric vehicles, Trump joked about the Astroturf protests.

“There are several ‘No Kings protests planned against the country on Saturday,” a reporter asked Trump on Thursday. “What are your thoughts on those?”
“I don’t feel like a king, I have to go through hell to get stuff approved,” the president quipped, drawing laughs.
“A king would never have had the California mandate to even be talking to you,” Trump added. “He wouldn’t have to call up Mike Johnson and Thune and say ‘fellas, you gotta pull this off and after years you get it done.’”
Trump added, he’s “not a king at all, thank you very much.”
According to Fox News, “U.S. Attorneys have reportedly been warned that federal charges may need to be filed if the protests become violent.”
“We are prepared to respond accordingly,” said a spokesperson.
In addition to the unfolding Democrat-sponsored insurrection, the rallies will take place with leftist emotions now running even higher after Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) was handcuffed after he charged DHS Secretary Kristi Noem at a Thursday press conference and Israel’s “preemptive strike” on Iran’s nuclear program.
There are also the Los Angeles anti-ICE riots which have been prevented from becoming a full-blown conflagration by Trump’s leadership in sending the National Guard and U.S. Marines into the Democrat-controlled city to restore order, although the matter is currently before the courts after Gov. Gavin Newsom and the state sued to force the president to remove the troops.
“They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too. far. No thrones. No crowns. No kings,” the “No Kings” organizers declared as the Democratic Party’s shock troops prepare to hit the streets.
