An illegal alien felt so emboldened by living in a sanctuary state and having a criminal record for quite some time that he did not think twice before he decided to throw a Molotov cocktail at police officers during the mostly peaceful riots in Los Angeles. However, considering our president is no longer a sleeping potato, you can’t allegedly commit attempted murder and get away with it, especially when you have broken federal immigration laws.
Subsequently, Emiliano Garduno-Galvez, a Mexican national, was arrested for throwing a Molotov cocktail at police on June 7.
And the best part? This man was previously deported and has a criminal record that includes an arrest for grand theft and a DUI.
Anyone surprised by this is not paying attention.
According to Fox News:
“Emiliano Garduno-Galvez is a criminal illegal alien from Mexico who threatened the lives of federal law enforcement officers by attacking them with a Molotov cocktail during the violent riots in Los Angeles. ICE arrested Garduno-Galvez, and he is now being charged with attempted murder. These are the types of criminal illegal aliens that rioters are fighting to protect,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a Wednesday statement.
McLaughlin added: “The Los Angeles rioters will not stop us or slow us down. And if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
LOL. If you are in this country illegally and have already been deported and convicted of awful crimes, the last thing you should be doing is bringing attention to yourself at ICE riots. And what’s even more crazy is that he decided to do that while also allegedly committing attempted murder on an American officer.
You really cannot make that level of insanity up.
DHS said ICE raids in LA over the weekend resulted in “hundreds of illegal aliens [being] arrested by ICE officers and agents,” including “many with a criminal history and criminal convictions.”
This is why it’s crucial to have an immigration system that actually works. You never know what kind of people are entering here. And even if the left believes no human should be illegal, why on earth must they endlessly defend those who have committed crimes post fact? That is something they will never be able to explain, yet they won’t stop looting and rioting despite it.
