Moscow earlier accused Kiev of failing to accept the remains, questioning whether it was complying with agreements reached in Istanbul
Ukraine has received from Russia the remains of 1,212 soldiers killed in combat, officials in Kiev have claimed. Moscow earlier agreed to return the remains of over 6,000 Ukrainian soldiers to Ukraine in a unilateral humanitarian gesture, but accused the country of failing to accept them. Russia is yet to comment on the matter.
