Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has fallen right in line with Democrat talking points regarding the rioting over the weekend in protest of ICE raids in Los Angeles.
Schiff, like other Democrats, is blaming Trump’s decision to order National Guard troops to the area as the reason the rioting escalated.
They seem to ignore the fact that cars were being set on fire long before Trump ever recommended using the National Guard to quiet the streets.
It’s all Trump’s fault
Democrats have used this narrative before, and it failed them, but they seem intent on trying it one more time.
To that point, Schiff stated, “The Trump Administration’s calling on the California National Guard without the authorization of the Governor is unprecedented. This action is designed to inflame tensions, sow chaos, and escalate the situation.”
He continued, “If the Guard is needed to restore peace, the Governor will ask for it. But continuing down this path will erode trust in the National Guard and set a dangerous precedent for unilateral misuse of the Guard across the country.”
Schiff went on, “Violence must stop, and we need to keep the focus on protecting fundamental rights.”
The senator concluded, “There is nothing President Trump would like more than a violent confrontation with protestors to justify the unjustifiable — invocation of the Insurrection Act or some form of martial law.”
If I were Trump, I would let California handle this and let the American people see that the state’s leaders would rather have their streets on fire than hold rioters responsible for their actions.
Make it clear that if needed, the National Guard is at their disposal, but don’t say a word other than to point out the violence and destruction that is taking place in the streets, all of which is being encouraged by Democrats.
Give them what they deserve… chaos.
After the rioting that took place in the past, it became clear that the American people were sick and tired of criminals and thugs running freely on our streets.
There are still parts of some cities that have yet to recover from the damage done by the George Floyd riots, and now there is another round of riots designed to defend another group of people who break the law to enter the country.
If liberals in these blue states and cities want to burn them down, I say let them. Force Democrats to step up and call them out, which will kill the support they get from radicals while still exposing them as anti-law advocates for allowing these riots to escalate to absurd boiling points before doing something about it.
