Optin Monster is great if you have barely any traffic.
But if you’re a big site with thousands of visitors per day, then be prepared to be ripped off.
This was their quote to us and it’s bigger than my last two mortgage payments.
And to put this in even more perspective, our dedicated servers that host numerous websites and do 20 million visitors per month only cost about $350-500 per month.
Here’s the quote I got from Rebecca, who is speaking on behalf of Optin Monster – who is clearly out of their fucking mind. Even with the discount, they are full of shit. Even if you make way more on this with your ads and sales, it’s still a rip-off. You cannot justify charging people THAT much. It’s just highway robbery.
Hey Frank,
Thanks for the reply.
An Enterprise plan that allows for up to 5 sites and 6 Millon pageviews/month runs:
Monthly: $2,749/month
Annual (20%): $26,390/yearIncorporating the paid time left in your current monthly plan plus the Black Friday upgrade discount that we are currently running would make the upgrade for the next year just $10,508.
I understand that this seems like a large number but when you compare it to what you are going to pay monthly for your base subscription + the pageview blocks, the annual plan is going to give you the most for your money.
You would just want to note that discounts are only good for the first term and the following terms renewal would be the full rate.
If you are looking to stay on a monthly plan, sticking with what you have is going to be your best option compared to our Enterprise plans.
Let me know if you have any questions about the above information, or if there is anything else we can do to further assist.
Very Respectfully,
Rebecca
