A man, who may or may not have been under the influence of a substance, was caught on video outside an Antioch, California, car dealership dancing nude on top of a police car Friday.
Tell me you’re dancing your way into the weekend without telling me you’re dancing your way into the weekend. This Antioch man will go first.
LOL. This is just one of many reasons I would never envy a police officer’s job. The nonsense they have to deal with—like wacked-out nudists—is astonishing and definitely has no place in a civil society. I don’t even want to imagine how he had to handle that situation.
It’s unclear when society started treating this kind of behavior like it’s normal, but it needs to stop. This is also why drug rehabilitation shouldn’t be optional, because many people can’t help themselves, even if they want to.
You don’t just start dancing nude on cop cars when you’re sober—you do it when you’re beyond help. This is also why society needs to stop treating mental health episodes as victimless crimes. Because somewhere, someone saw this man’s junk, and that is a crime.
While things like this are becoming more common in California and other progressive-run areas, Americans have grown way too used to it. This shouldn’t be happening in the best country in the world, and it’s time we do something about it.
I know you may be thinking this is an overreaction, but an underreaction is even worse. And while the background music was pretty perfect, and yeah, the video’s kind of funny—but it still shows we’ve got a ways to go before America becomes sane again.
