It used to be common sense that children shouldn’t be pushed into life-altering medical decisions before they’re old enough to vote, drive, or even rent a movie. But in today’s political landscape, where feelings seem to outweigh facts, that basic principle is now considered controversial.
Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is having none of it.
In a firm memorandum shared with Breitbart News, Bondi called out the Biden administration for promoting what she described as “radical gender ideology” that puts children at risk. She criticized President Biden for pandering to fringe activists, pointing to moments like hosting transgender influencers at the White House and giving top health positions to people like Rachel Levine. According to Bondi, this isn’t leadership — it’s exploitation disguised as progress.
Bondi’s memo lays out a serious, clear plan for the Department of Justice: stop the medical abuse of children in its tracks. That includes enforcing laws against procedures she calls “chemical and surgical mutilation” and taking a hard look at pharmaceutical companies that promote puberty blockers and sex hormones with little accountability.
And no, she’s not just tossing around buzzwords. She’s talking about actual investigations into possible violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. That’s Washington speak for: “We’re watching, and we’re not afraid to sue.”
Bondi also proposed legislation that would allow families affected by these procedures to seek justice, with extended time limits to make sure medical providers don’t just wait out the clock. It’s a move aimed at not only stopping future cases but giving a voice to those who already feel silenced by the system.
Backing her up is former President Donald Trump’s executive order titled “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation.” The order was issued shortly after his return to the White House and lays down a federal policy that bans gender-transition procedures for anyone under 19. Bondi’s memo echoes this hard line, sending a message to states like California that the days of turning a blind eye are over.
The memo is also a warning shot to woke medical professionals more concerned with ideology than ethics. If you’re experimenting on kids under the guise of “gender-affirming care,” the DOJ might be knocking on your door soon.
Bondi’s focus isn’t just political — it’s moral. Her stance reflects a growing concern across the country, even among moderate voices, about pushing minors down a medical path with irreversible consequences. It’s a call to reclaim sanity and restore boundaries that, until recently, no one thought needed defending.
At a time when much of Washington seems afraid to speak truth plainly, Bondi is stepping up with the clarity and conviction that used to define public service. She’s not here for applause — she’s here to protect kids. And if that upsets the activist class or a few overpaid pharmaceutical executives, well, maybe that’s a sign she’s doing something right.
