June 4, 2025 – Manhattan, NY – A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in the neck Wednesday night near West 17th Street and Ninth Avenue, police said.
Officers responded around 9:19 p.m. to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress. They arrived to find the victim unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the neck. At least 200 people gathered around as police navigated the scene.
Victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Later in the evening, a 30-year-old man was shot in the head and killed near TIMES SQUARE late Wednesday night.
The shooting occurred around 10:45 p.m. near W42nd Street and 9th Avenue in Manhattan. Emergency responders transported the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition before being pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
