In a Wednesday House DOGE Subcommittee hearing examining the funding and influence of nonprofit NGOs (non-governmental organizations), U.S. Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, questioned a witness who works in the industry whether or not she was a “racist.”
The witness, Diane Yentel, is president and CEO of the National Council of Nonprofits. While she respond “no” to the question, Gill’s second question was a bit trickier to answer.
