Rep. Rashida Tlaib probably felt like she had to make a statement about the senseless attack in Boulder, Colorado. But the comments prove that she was better off staying silent.
Attacks like the one that took place at the pro-Israel rally are usually a moment for the country to unify in calls for peace, but there are some people who just shouldn’t be showing up in this moment.
One of those people is Tlaib, known for her fiery speeches and passionate defense of those she believes are victims of oppression. Strangely, her comments about the Boulder attack have none of her normal vigor.
The violent attack in Boulder is horrific. My heart goes out to all of the victims and their families. Violence has no place in our communities.

“The violent attack in Boulder is horrific. My heart goes out to all of the victims and their families. Violence has no place in our communities,” she wrote on X.
X users couldn’t help but notice that Tlaib’s rhetoric about the Gaza conflict hasn’t exactly been pro-Israel:
This is a direct result of the rhetoric you spew and the illegals you protect.
You should be expelled Congress and barred from ever serving in an elected position again.

This couldn’t be a more unfeeling post by Rashida Tlaib. It would’ve been better if she said nothing at all.
Tlaib was censured for her antisemitism. She caused the Boulder attack.
Her pro-Palestinian extremists acted on her behalf.
It’s time to expel Tlaib and deport her.

Maybe you should stop spreading hate.

Antisemitism has no place in our communities. Fixed it for you!

It would have been better if you had said nothing.
