It’s often hard to tell if mainstream media shills truly believe what they say, or if it’s purely gaslighting propaganda… or perhaps, a combination of both.
Case in point, CNN veteran reporter Christiane Amanpour, whose recent commentary about visiting the United States is making the rounds for being completely out of touch.
While seemingly unable to decipher the difference between illegally sneaking into the U.S. through a porous border versus visiting with all the proper documents, Amanpour described the lengths she claimed to have gone through to feel somewhat safe, while likening the U.S. to North Korea.
No, really.
Newsbusters’ writer Alex Christy posted video of the bizarre diatribe on X, stating, “As if invoking 1984 and Mussolini in her Harvard commencement speech wasn’t bad enough, PBS/CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour says on her podcast that ‘I literally prepared to go to America as if I was going to North Korea. I took a burner phone, Jamie. Imagine that.’”

Needless to say, reasonable people on X had loads of fun with Amanpour’s hot take:
Taking a burner phone into North Korea would be a really really bad idea.

None of Ms Amanpour’s Fears, Impressions and Beliefs of America were true by her own admission.
I can’t imagine what it’s like to live in a world that simply doesn’t exist ??

There’s a 99.99% chance she lied about ALL of that.
And it wouldn’t be the first time she’s woven extreme, horrific tales to build her “cred.”

And…Go live in North Korea for a couple weeks and report back and let me know

And this is now the most ridiculous thing I’ve read today. And there alot of competition out there, as usual.

That is saying something.
