The left is already looking to the next election, and their eyes are turning to one man: Gavin Newsom, the governor of California. According to a new poll, more Democrats are backing him for president in 2028. That should be a warning to every freedom-loving American, because Newsom doesn’t stand for liberty, faith, or the Constitution. He stands for government control, high taxes, and the same radical agenda that nearly destroyed our country under Joe Biden.
Let’s be clear about who Gavin Newsom is. He is the architect of California’s decline — a man who turned the Golden State into a warning sign for the rest of the country. Under his leadership, California has seen crime rise, businesses flee, and families suffer under the weight of regulations and taxes. Homeless camps have taken over city sidewalks. Drug use is rampant. And instead of fixing the problem, Newsom doubles down on the same failed policies that caused it.
Now, Democrats want to take that failed model and bring it to all 50 states. That’s why they’re eyeing Newsom as their next national leader. And that’s why we must raise our voices and stand up for the principles that made this country great: limited government, personal responsibility, and individual liberty.
The poll shows that 25 percent of Democrat voters now say they support Newsom for president. That’s a big jump from just a few months ago. And he’s gaining ground with younger voters, older voters, Black voters, White voters — across the board. The left is rallying behind him because they see in him a fighter for their cause. But make no mistake: that cause is not freedom. It is control.
Newsom is already playing political games. As Texas Republicans work to pass a fair redistricting map to reflect the will of the people, Newsom is trying to tip the scales in the other direction. He and other California Democrats are pushing their own map to try to cancel out Republican gains in Texas. In other words, they want to win by rigging the system, not by earning votes. That’s not democracy. That’s manipulation.
He’s also taken to mocking President Trump online, trying to act tough by copying the president’s style. But imitation is not leadership. And disrespect is not strength. President Trump is working hard to restore our nation — rebuilding the economy, protecting our borders, and standing up for American families. Meanwhile, Newsom is playing games on social media.
The truth is, the Democrat Party is lost. They don’t have a clear leader. Kamala Harris is sinking in the polls. Pete Buttigieg hasn’t gained any ground. The rest of their potential candidates barely register with voters. So they’re turning to Newsom, hoping he can be the one to carry their radical vision forward. But we see right through it.
We must be ready. We must defend our Constitution, our faith, and our families from the kind of future Newsom and the Democrats are planning. A future where government decides what kind of car you drive, what your kids learn in school, and how much of your paycheck you’re allowed to keep. A future where your rights come from politicians—not from God.
But that’s not who we are. We are Americans. We believe in freedom. We believe in hard work. We believe in the right to speak freely, worship freely, and live without government interference. And we believe that our best days are still ahead — as long as we stick to the principles that built this great nation.
So let Gavin Newsom rise in the polls. Let the Democrats rally around him. We will be ready. Because we have the truth on our side. And come 2028, the American people will remember what matters most: liberty, justice, and a government that serves the people — not the other way around.
