Homan Brings Reality Check to Gavin Newsom, Explains Why He’s an ‘Embarrassment to the Position He Holds’

Tom Homan is known for speaking frankly—he tells what he sees whether We the People like it or not.

Thursday was no exception for the border czar as he laid into extremist California Gov. Gavin Newsom for his incendiary rhetoric regarding Donald Trump’s efforts to bring order to our lawless cities.

On Wednesday, Newsom accused the president of using Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as his “private police force.”

Homan let Newsom have it. He told reporters:

Newsom is an embarrassment to the position he holds. Hard stop.

Further:

If he had an ounce of integrity, he’d be calling President Trump and thanking him for making LA safer.

And:

He’d be calling the head of ICE and thanking them for the thousands of criminals, public safety threats they’ve taken off the streets of California.

The tweet continued:

He’d be calling Secretary Noem, thanking her.

Further:

If the data proves it, anybody can look at the data who we’ve arrested in California, he ought to be thanking us.

And:

So Governor Newsom is an embarrassment to the position he holds. And, you know, he’s trying to be relevant apparently, whatever. But we’re gonna be in LA today, we’re gonna be in LA tomorrow, we’re gonna be in every California city. We’ll be in San Diego, I was in San Diego.

Oof. We sure do no’t want to get on Tom’s bad side.

Newsom utterly slandered the law enforcement agency at a Politico Summit on Wednesday, scurrilously accusing them of being disloyal to the United States. This is today’s Democrat leader.

Newsom foolishly said:

When they’re done with this—all that funding and that ‘big beautiful betrayal’ allows more resources for this private police force that increasingly is showing a tendency not to swear an oath to the Constitution, but to the president of the United States.

Imagine, he sees himself as gearing up for a presidential run. He is trying to contrast himself not only with his own party members but with President Trump—but what a disgusting thing to say. Is there nothing beneath this man?

Newsom just keeps performing his peacock act—but he cannot ignore the reality of which Homan and so many others continually remind him.

He is a failure with a capital F.
