Taco Bell is taking fans back to the 2000s with the return of five classic menu items.
On Aug. 28, the fast-food chain announced its new Decades Y2K Menu, launching Sept. 8. The lineup will feature long-requested favorites alongside a brand-new meal deal.
The returning items include:
- Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos – $2.49; classic taco filled with beef, lettuce, and cheddar cheese inside a Cool Ranch Doritos shell.
- Double Decker Taco – $2.49; a crunchy taco wrapped in a soft tortilla layered with beans, seasoned beef, lettuce, and shredded cheese.
7-Layer Burrito – $2.49; a vegetarian option stacked with refried beans, rice, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a three-cheese blend.
Chili Cheese Burrito – $2.99; filled with hearty chili and cheddar cheese in a warm flour tortilla.
Caramel Apple Empanada – $2.99; a golden crust packed with apple pieces and rich caramel filling.
To complement the nostalgic menu, Taco Bell is also introducing a $9 Discovery Luxe Box, which includes:
- Two Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos
- A Crunchwrap Supreme

Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery said Taco Bell’s 2000s menu was one of its most iconic eras, with items like the Crunchwrap Supreme still ranking among its best-sellers. “Fans have never stopped asking for these items, and honestly, we’ve missed them too,” Montgomery noted.
Alongside the food, Taco Bell recently added a new line of Refrescas drinks, available in multiple flavors and formats:
Agua Refrescas – $3.99; strawberry passionfruit, dragonfruit berry, or mango peach with real fruit pieces and green tea.
Rockstar Energy Refrescas – $4.49; pineapple lime or tropical punch, each with 200 mg caffeine.
Refresca Freeze – $3.79–$3.99; frozen strawberry lime with fruit pieces.
The Y2K Decades Menu will be available nationwide starting Sept. 8 for a limited time.
