A press event celebrating the completion of a road devolved into chaos when protesters started screeching at Maine Republican Rep. Sen. Susan Collins.
Collins pleaded with the protesters to “please just listen” when one snapped back, “We’d like you to listen!”
The demonstrators, seemingly furious about a multitude of issues, could be seen carrying signs that read, “Susan Collins WTF” and “Slippery Susan Collins steals Medicaid” as the crowd chanted, “Shame, shame, shame!”
Whew! Sen. Susan Collins should be “very concerned”
She showed up as the main guest at a ribbon-cutting in Searsport, Maine. It backfired.
The crowd was not happy to have her: “Shame. Shame. Shame.” pic.twitter.com/xZDe5fu5sz

Collins, who is often accused of being a “RINO” by Republicans, and whose seat is considered vulnerable by Democrats, found herself in a no-win situation, and the reaction to the scene was equally mixed:
The people screaming shame are morons, there were no cuts for anyone who is entitled to Medicare. I’ve worked all my life to get that at retirement, and now it will likely be there for me because people who didn’t earn it won’t kill the program before I need it.

I’m no Susan Collins fan by any stretch of the imagination, but how does this help anything? A handful of boomers screaming like spoiled toddlers for nothing.

Always makes me wonder when I hear Democrat protesters, how much are they being paid?

Even though Susan Collins is a lot like a Democrat she will likely be the victim of the extreme partisan mindset in blue Maine this time.

She’s one of the most decent out of the Republican Senate. I’m quite sure she is afraid of Trump’s wrath. However , it doesn’t justify her support of his agenda.

Good, she needs to resign or we have to vote her out
