Cracker Barrel has completely caved and agreed to restore its original logo and ditch a ‘woke’ modern rebrand altogether after a massive public backlash.
Despite the soulless bland new logo and the modernising of restaurant interiors costing millions, the company has decided to cut its losses and go back to the traditional layout of its eateries, as well as bringing back the guy leaning on the barrel and the traditional style font.
The development comes after a massive market loss and a huge backlash, even to an apology issued yesterday and a promise that traditional items would still appear in Cracker Barrel outlets.
Amid the uproar, President Trump weighed in, advising Cracker Barrel to “admit a mistake based on customer response,” and “go back to the old logo,” in order to “Make Cracker Barrel a WINNER again.”
Just a few hours later that’s exactly what they did, issuing a statement saying “we said we would listen.”
LMAO! President Trump at 11AM: “Cracker Barrel should go back to the old logo, admit a mistake”
Cracker Barrel, not even 8 hours later: *Goes back to the old logo, admits a mistake*
GOOD CHOICE, CRACKER BARREL! Taking business advice from 47 is a great move.

“We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our “Old Timer” will remain,” Cracker Barrel said in a statement on X.
“At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and always will be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family. As a proud American institution, our 70,000 hardworking employees look forward to welcoming you to our table soon,” the company added.

Yeah, it’s just Cracker Barrel, but it goes to show that modernity can be overturned and traditional values restored if people take action.

Now, there are some questions that remain…
Are you going to stop funding all ages pride events? Are you going to end DEI and never again do a pronoun training at your headquarters?
For those who don’t know about how woke they really went, watch this video… https://t.co/Fv8W5L2NoR

How much were they paying that CEO? The could have just asked us and we would have saved them a fortune.
The logo won’t be enough..they need to fire everyone involved and fast and promote ANYONE who said this was a bad idea lol— Johnny St.Pete (@JohnMcCloy) August 26, 2025
Gotta cut far deeper than the CEO. The whole C suite has to go now. Get a few former execs back onboard for a bit and rebuild the brand, the loyalty, and the customer base.

Cracker Barrel announced a strategic transformation plan in May 2024, which included a major brand refresh encompassing store remodels, menu updates, and a logo redesign. The total planned investment for this multi-year initiative was up to $700 million.
Apparently they spent MILLIONS on that new logo
And now they’re just abandoning it?!
If I was a shareholder in Cracker Barrel, I would be FURIOUS right now…

While the exact amount spent specifically on the logo development and initial rollout is not publicly disclosed, the overall transformation (of which the rebrand was a key component) has been widely reported as costing $700 million—much of which could be considered wasted or at risk due to the failed logo element and associated backlash.
It’s a uniform…

This controversy also triggered a stock plunge for Cracker Barrel (ticker: CBRL), resulting in a market value loss of up to $143 million.

You want us to come back, scrap the woke DEI pandering policies and fire the CEO. Until that happens, my family won’t be coming back.
You forget who your customers are, they aren’t woke liberals in the cities, it’s regular working… pic.twitter.com/9jC1PksX3o— Brandon Wilkinson (@brawil86) August 27, 2025
