Putting together a White House staff and a strong administration is no small feat, building the team that surrounds President Donald Trump has been no exception.
While the president announced several high-level appointments to fill major roles in Washington after his inauguration in January of this year, a little over six months later, many have left for other, less stressful positions, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Among them is Harrison Fields, who served as principal deputy press secretary from January of this year forward, but is now leaving for a lobbying firm.
Fields left the Trump White House to work at CGCN Group, which is a Republican lobbying and public affairs outfit.
It’s been an honor to serve in your administration for a second time.
May God bless @POTUS and this great nation.

Fields isn’t the only aide leaving the high-pressure situation that is working within a presidential administration.
According to recent reports, four other aides have announced that they’re leaving jobs at the White House this month to move to the private sector.
Other than fields, the White House is also losing Trent Morse, deputy director of presidential personnel.
Former White House crypto policy executive, Bo Hines, is also on the way out.
Also leaving are May Davis Mailman, deputy assistant to the president, and director of digital content, Billy McLaughlin.
Trump’s first term
This level of turnover is still not nearly as steep as the first time Trump was in office.
During his term from 2017-2021, Trump saw a nearly 92% departure, with 45% of those positions seeing more than two individuals holding them in the four years.
Last time around, within the first six months of the administration, around a dozen senior aides had left for greener pastures, and the number currently stands at five.
As for fields, his White House salary was a perfectly respectable $139,500, but some have guessed his CGCN pay would likely be at least double that amount.
