A South Carolina man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl who later had his baby.
James Brown, 47, reportedly met the victim last November. She told police that Brown began sexually abusing her when she was 11, according to WBTV.
The victim reportedly had a baby at age 13, which authorities said was fathered by Brown.
WBTV reported that Brown’s arrest came nearly a year after the victim alerted police. Additional details regarding his alleged crimes were not provided.
Brown was charged with sexual conduct with a minor. His bond was set at $50,000.
