Elon Musk: ‘I’m OK with going to Hell’
Like most bombshells these days, it began with a mysterious tweet.
Elon Musk’s May 8 tweet, “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya,” naturally sparked a lot of discussion on Musk’s eternal fate on Twitter.
Musk responded, “Thank you for the blessing, but I’m OK with going to hell, if that is indeed my destination, since the vast majority of all humans ever born will be there,” to a comment made by one of his now 122 million followers that suggested Musk should think about whether there is a “creator of this world” before he dies.
The tweet was the most clear statement that Musk has made to date on some of his most firmly held views, or lack thereof. Although Musk had previously hinted at his denial of the existence of any deity, this tweet was the most specific statement that Musk has previously made.
When you are the richest man in the world, there is not a lot of personal information that is not available for public consumption. This is especially true for a prominent South African-born billionaire by the name of Musk.
However, apart from the tweet that was cited before, we have a limited understanding of Musk’s position toward God, eternity, and the belief in the Gospel.
In a 2013 interview with Rainn Wilson, who plays Rainn Wilson on The Office, he stated that despite the fact that he has devoted his life to the “advancement of humanity,” he does not “really worship anything.” His moral beliefs are, at best, vague.
The Bible cautions that the Mark of the Beast will be a conscious decision, rather than something individuals receive inadvertently. It will transform an individual in such a manner that they become the permanent possession of the Antichrist. This highlights the troubling nature of brain-chip technology—it could affect behavior, choices, and even genetic makeup.
“Could you imagine if he did become a believer?” “From HNW perspective, it is not likely, but with God, all things are possible.”
