Police are responding to a report of an active shooter at the University of Arkansas.
Our content partner, KNWA-TV in Fayetteville, said a text alert was sent to students Monday afternoon saying an active shooter was reported.
The alert advised everyone to avoid the area around Mullins Library.
KNWA reported that U of A police cars could be seen outside the library, and that the Fayetteville Police Department was “actively assisting to clear the building.”
