Lil Nas X was charged with four felonies following his arrest on Thursday in California.
TMZ reported that Lil Nas X, 26, was hospitalized for a suspected overdose, but he was eventually jailed for assaulting three Los Angeles police officers while naked. Lil Nas X remains jailed, despite pleading not guilty to battery with injury on a police officer and resisting an executive officer.
Lil Nas X’s bond was set at $75,000. If released, he is barred from using illegal narcotics and must enroll in an outpatient treatment program, according to the Los Angeles Times.
A video posted by TMZ showed Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, walking down the streets of downtown Los Angeles naked after removing his underwear and boots.
During Thursday’s ordeal, Lil Nas X was also filmed carrying a traffic cone over his head and reciting Nicki Minaj’s verse from “Monster” by Kanye West.
Lil Nas X’s father told reporters outside of court that his son was not suffering from drug abuse and is “doing great mentally.”
The father said, “He’s gonna get the help that he needs and just keep him in your prayers.”
