The House Oversight Committee subpoenaed Jeffrey Epstein’s estate Monday as part of its probe into the convicted sex offender.
The panel is seeking records that could shed new light on Epstein’s dealings, including a “birthday book” reportedly prepared for him by his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) also announced that former U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta will appear for a transcribed interview on Sept. 19.
