Israel Slams False UN Report Declaring Famine in Gaza ‘Tailor-Made for Hamas’

The UN once again slanders Israel. In it’s latest IPC report, the UN falsely accuses Israel of committing famine against the civilians of Gaza, despite 2 million tons of aid that Israel has sent to Gaza since the beginning of the war.

The terrorist group Hamas loots aid. And the Israel foreign ministry accused the IPC (ntegrated Food Security Phase Classification) of changing its own global standard – cutting the 30% threshold to 15% for this report only. The Israeli defence ministry body which oversees civil affairs in the Palestinian territories, known as COGAT, also rejected the report, saying previous editions had ‘proven inaccurate’.

‘Like previous IPC reports and assessments regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza, this report ignores the data on aid deliveries published by COGAT, as well as Hamas’ deliberate and cynical exploitation of that aid,’ a statement by COGAT read.

‘The classification of famine relies on unpublished phone surveys, questionable assessments by UNRWA – some of whose employees are Hamas operatives – and local NGOs.’

The body also said that more than 10,000 aid trucks have entered Gaza through the UN, international organisations, and the private sector since May – 80 percent of which carried food. It also said more than 5,000 tonnes of baby food and more than 2,500 tonnes of medical equipment have been delivered during the same period.

Despite the improving situation, the U.N.-affiliated Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) this morning released an analysis that ignored key facts, relied on Hamas misinformation, and altered the IPC’s own standards to conclude that there is a ‘famine’ in Gaza City.

The determination relied on inaccurate and incomplete U.N. data on the amount of aid in Gaza, and ignored Israel’s recent efforts to massively surge aid into the Strip.

Prime Minister Netanyahu said: “The IPC report is an outright lie. Israel does not have a policy of starvation. Israel has a policy of preventing starvation.”

No other military in history has gone to greater lengths to defend the civilian population of it’s enemy that the Israel Defense Forces. However, this fact means nothing to the UN, who continue their malicious war against Israel. The UN is an evil, corrupt, anti-Semitic, anti-American, and anti-Western institution that should be shutdown.

The Foreign Ministry and the Prime Minister’s Office condemned a report by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification on Friday, which officially declared famine in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry called it “a tailor-made fabricated report to fit Hamas’s fake campaign,” while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office argued that, “Israel has a policy of preventing starvation,” not creating it.
