Joe Biden’s reckless open-border agenda just claimed another victim—and this time, it was a biotech CEO left with a brain injury.
Video footage out of Charleston, South Carolina, shows 42-year-old Russian national Vadim Uliumdzhiev, an illegal alien who strolled into the United States through California in 2022 under Biden’s failed border policies, viciously head-butting biotech CEO Bryan Kobel in April.
The incident began when Kobel, who relies on a service dog, canceled the Uber ride after Uliumdzhiev refused to allow the dog inside his car. That’s when the illegal immigrant snapped. He rammed his head into Kobel’s face, knocking him backward onto the pavement, and sent his service dog sprawling.

Kobel woke up in a hospital bed with seven staples and four stitches in his head. He has since suffered a traumatic brain injury, memory loss, and speech difficulties. “It’s been a brutal experience to this day,” he told The New York Post.
Now, Kobel is suing Uber for financial damages, but the real crime here lies with the Biden administration. DHS confirmed Uliumdzhiev crossed the border illegally near San Ysidro, California, in December 2022 and was simply released into the country. He was arrested for assault in Charleston and briefly released on a $10,000 bond before ICE finally placed a hold on him.
As DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin put it: “Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, if you break the law, you will face the consequences. Criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S.”
This case is just the latest reminder of how Biden’s open-border disaster has turned every American community into a potential crime scene. Instead of protecting law-abiding citizens, Biden’s policies empower dangerous criminals who never should have been allowed into the country in the first place.
Americans are right to demand: deport them all.
