The Trump Administration is in its common sense law and order reform era, what with the overwhelming success of its implementation in Washington, DC. As it moves on to other Democrat run cities that have been under progressive control for decades, results may vary depending on how the non-partisan, non-political people in those cities react. If these bars from JD Vance on Friday are the messaging, the Trump Admin will be greeted like liberators.
Seven simple words.
“We don’t have to live like this.”
Boom.
“All we need is politicians who care more about public safety for American citizens than they do for violent criminals.”
Here’s the thing with most American cities. Are they under total progressive control, and have they been that way for decades? Yes. Part of that is because Republicans have given up on them and don’t bother putting up a viable alternative (see: City, New York). The other part is that the left takes advantage of low voter turnout in these cities, by voters who have given up, figuring nothing is going to change. The Zohran will become the mayor of the most important city in America, a position that has long been considered the second most important behind the President of the United States. There’s a good chance that over 70% of the city won’t even bother to vote.
What if Republicans led a serious effort to change that? Under the message that, contrary to what Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) want you to believe, you don’t have to live like this. Or that, again, contrary to what the media and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) want you to believe, it’s not -ist or -ism to enforce laws and make public safety a priority.
Republicans haven’t tried. They haven’t tried anything. With Trump and Vance, that’s going to change, and it’s the right thing to do.
Plus, as an added political benefit, it will be easy to bait the people responsible for Democrats being the least popular they’ve ever been into reminding voters why Democrats are the least popular they’ve ever been.
Between now and Trump’s State of the Union at the beginning of next year, the success of their efforts is crucial. A key component of that is messaging. If Vance’s message IS the message, people who have been silenced in our cities by leftist policies will start to speak up, and America will be in much better shape.
