On August 19, 2025, investigative journalists Jack Poulson and Harrison Berger disclosed on Substack the existence of a “previously unreported spreadsheet containing 2,152 international legal requests involving the State of Israel, which was concealed within last year’s Anonymous for Justice leaks.” The report highlights numerous child sexual abuse cases found in the dataset, indicating that the Israeli government has shown reluctance to fulfil U.S. extradition requests. This revelation comes on the back of a joint Law enforcement agency sting operation in Nevada, which resulted in the arrest of Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, the Executive Director of the Defense Division of the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD). The senior Israeli official was caught allegedly attempting to solicit sexual acts from an Online Covert Employee (OCE) from the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force (CETF), who was posing in an online dating application as a 15-year-old juvenile.

A CBS News investigative report released in February 2020, titled “How Jewish American pedophiles hide from justice in Israel”, revealed that numerous accused American pedophiles escape to Israel, making it challenging to bring them to justice. In the report, one victim, whose name was altered to protect her identity, claims that “certain members of the Jewish community in the U.S. are willing to assist pedophiles in their flight.” The report also highlights a comment made in 2016 by an alleged victim of Mordechai Yomtov, a then-35-year-old Hebrew teacher, charged in Oregon, US, in 2021 with committing lewd acts with three of his other students, ranging in age from 8 to 10. The victim, who is believed to have resided in the State of California a the time of the alleged offence, stated:
“I want the (LA County District Attorney) to step up their game — you know, actually fight to get him back here and give him what he deserves,” he says. “And also, I want the communities to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
Despite a very slow process and a lack of sufficient requests from the US to compel Israel to extradite Yomtov, no significant actions were taken by the Hebrew State to return this notorious Jewish child predator to the US. Instead, he was permitted to start a new life in Jerusalem. What the CBS investigation failed to mention is that most of these offenders hold dual citizenship as Israeli American nationals. This is why Federal and State prosecutors should exercise extreme caution before allowing the release of child predators or anyone involved in the abuse or trafficking of children. It is widely recognised that Jewish American pedophiles often evade justice by fleeing to Israel.
In the instance of Israeli national Tom Alexandrovich, the Special Agent who conducted his interview clearly determined that Alexandrovich did commit the offence of “luring a minor using technology”, and was also made aware during the interview, that the alleged child predator was just 48 hours away from boarding a flight back to Israel, which ultimately should have categorised him as a high flight risk.
The Jewish Community Watch (JCW), an organisation based in New York City, which is recognised for its efforts in locating Israeli-American pedophiles who have fled to Israel, hosts on its website a “Wall of Shame” that lists individuals, including child predators and offenders, whom JCW believes present a serious threat to public safety. Perhaps one day, the name of Tom Alexandrovich will be featured amongst this grim cast of predators…

Since 2014, more than 60 alleged US sex offenders have escaped to Israel through the Law of Return, avoiding prosecution with the help of local communities and prolonged extradition processes. Although it was never reported that Tom Alexandrovich holds dual nationality, the truth remains that he was granted “the right of return” to Israel after being arrested for luring a 15-year-old juvenile decoy. It is not hard to understand how tempting it must be for dual-citizen officials in high-ranking roles within the U.S. administration, like Sigal Chattah, to show favouritism towards Israel. This ongoing situation is likely to further erode public confidence in the American justice system. Additionally, the Epstein case, with its clear connections to U.S.-Israeli intelligence, has already sparked significant public anger. It is increasingly clear that without necessary reforms, child predators and offenders will keep taking advantage of the “right of return” loophole and Israel’s complacency with the extradition process. Surely this needs to end.
Will Judge Barbara Schifalacqua and Steve Wolfson, the Clark County District Attorney, who has been referred to as the US official overseeing Alexandrovich’s prosecution, compel this alleged child predator to come back to the US to confront justice, particularly if his bail terms are modified during the upcoming hearing on August 27..?

Leaked Ministry Docs Reveal Israel Protecting 2,000+ Child Sex Predators From U.S. Extradition
Israel has repeatedly blocked U.S. extradition requests for child sex offenders, according to more than 2,000 internal government case files. The documents, current as of May 2022, show a clear pattern: when American predators flee to Israel, they are more often shielded than sent back to face justice.
The files — which detail extradition attempts involving convicted abusers, rabbis, fugitives, and even world-famous figures like Roman Polanski — reveal how Israel has delayed, obstructed, or outright refused to comply with U.S. demands.
These records were never intended for public view. They surfaced only after a trove of Israeli Ministry of Justice emails, known as the “Anonymous for Justice” leaks and widely attributed to Iranian intelligence, was accidentally exposed in May 2022.
A Pattern of Obstruction
The most infamous example is Roman Polanski. After pleading guilty in 1978 to sex with a minor, the filmmaker escaped to Europe. When the U.S. asked Israel to extradite him in 2006, authorities stalled. During his 2007 trip to Israel, officials demanded extra paperwork from Los Angeles prosecutors. By the time it arrived, Polanski had quietly left the country — and Israel let him walk.
Polanski is not alone. In fact, he is one of thousands — that we know about. Here are a few other notable names:
- Rabbi Mordechai Yomtov, convicted in California for abusing children as young as eight, violated his probation and slipped into Israel on a fake passport. A U.S. extradition request logged in 2017 has gone nowhere. He remains free.
- Jimmy Julias Karow, wanted in Oregon for sexually assaulting a nine-year-old, also escaped to Israel. He was later sentenced there for raping two little girls but has never been sent back to face U.S. justice, despite an official request filed in 2021.
- Rabbi Gershon Kranczer, accused of horrific child abuse, fled to Israel in 2010. The U.S. requested his extradition in 2011. Israel dragged its feet for ten years before finally sending him back in 2021. His son and co-abuser, Asher Kranczer, fled alongside him and still enjoys protection in Israel.
- Elad Gaber, an Israeli who blackmailed dozens of underage girls in a global sextortion ring, was requested by the U.S. in 2011. Israel only acted in 2020 — nearly a decade later.
The pattern is undeniable. When the crimes involve children, Israel bends over backwards to shield the perpetrators.
A Recent Example: Israel’s Cyber Chief
This culture of protection extends to the highest levels of the Israeli state. Just this summer, Israel’s own cyber intelligence chief, Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, was arrested in Las Vegas during a police sting targeting child predators. According to arrest records, he tried to lure an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old girl to a Cirque du Soleil show for sex.
Alexandrovich was attending the elite Black Hat cybersecurity conference and even met with FBI and NSA officials while in the U.S. After being caught, he was released on a mere $10,000 bond and promptly fled the country. Days later, U.S. Attorney Sigal Chattah blasted Nevada authorities for their failure, saying they “FAILED TO REQUIRE AN ALLEGED CHILD MOLESTER TO SURRENDER HIS PASSPORT, which allowed him to flee our country.”
Now back in Israel, Alexandrovich has been quietly placed on paid leave — not in jail.
A Safe Haven by Design?
These leaks raise a chilling question: is Israel deliberately acting as a sanctuary for child sex offenders?
From rabbis and fugitives to world-famous directors and even its own intelligence elite, the same pattern repeats — extradition is delayed, requests are ignored, predators are shielded. Out of more than 2,000 international legal requests in the leaked spreadsheet, a shocking number involve Americans accused of abusing children.
For decades, the U.S. has asked Israel to hand these men back. Again and again, Israel has said no. The victims are denied justice, while the offenders find safety under the protection of a government that seems more interested in hiding crimes than exposing them.
The “Anonymous for Justice” leak makes one thing clear: when it comes to child predators, Israel’s Ministry of Justice is running interference, not justice.
