October 4th Marks Four Years of Persecution: PDJA Signing Ceremony to Restore Targeted Parents and Strike Back at the Deep State
WASHINGTON, D.C., August 19, 2025
The Parents Demanding Justice Alliance (PDJA), led by co-founders Kelly John Walker and Sam Sorbo, is calling on President Donald J. Trump to host an October 4th signing ceremony for the proposed Executive Order restoring parents targeted by the Biden Administration’s weaponized Department of Justice.
The date marks the fourth anniversary of Attorney General Merrick Garland’s notorious memo labeling concerned school parents as potential “domestic terrorists.” The memo triggered years of lawfare, defamation, and financial devastation for parents who dared to speak out at school board meetings.
“October 4th is more than just an anniversary—it’s the perfect moment for President Trump to send a decisive message that justice belongs to every American,” said Sorbo. “It’s time to restore the victims, hold perpetrators accountable, and ensure this abuse never happens again.”
The proposed signing ceremony would:
- Deliver a major win for the Trump Administration with millions of parents nationwide
- Provide relief for families still suffering from Garland memo fallout
- Strike a public and symbolic blow against the Deep State’s targeting of American families
PDJA leaders say the dossier documenting these abuses has grown significantly since first being presented to the Trump team, containing dozens of firsthand accounts from parents and advocates across the nation.
“This is about more than symbolism,” Walker added. “It’s about restoring liberty, protecting families, and proving that the rule of law still applies in America.”
PDJA is urging the administration to pair the signing with a public ceremony honoring the courage of targeted parents, recognizing the sacrifices they’ve made for the sake of their children and communities.
