Loses in the election in his riding in Ontario.
Not a problem says the Party.
Damien Durek , Conservative MP , steps aside and allows Poilievre to run in this safest of the safest Conservative seats. And , of course, he wins.
But now he does not have to worry about being accountable to the voters of that riding that just voted him back in the Federal Parliament because Mr. Durek intends to run there again in the next election. Of course, he will twist and shout about the Government not being accountable!! Do as I say not as I do.
And many in Canada are happy about all of that.

‘Nevertheless, Kurek says he expects to be back on the ballot himself the next time a general election rolls around.’
