Food influencers hit by a car while reviewing a burger inside a restaurant…
It seems like this was at CuVee’s Culinary Creations in Houston, Texas. They end up going back there to eat at the end of the video, though they didn’t sit by the window this time!
From what I’ve gathered, it seems a lady was on the way to the restaurant for a private event, trying to beat traffic and gunned her SUV across the road, but instead of turning left into the flow she panicked and ran straight into the restaurant. She wasn’t drunk or impaired or anything, just terrible vehicle handling. She is mostly uninjured as well, but is being held accountable for damages…
This could have easily severely maimed them or been fatal. They are so fucking lucky omg…

Every day at 214 feet high, a priest climbs the Jagannath temple in india to change the flag, because missing this ritual would mean closing the Temple for 18 years…
The flag is known as the “Patitapabana Bana” and symbolizes Lord Jagannath’s presence and protection over the city. This tradition is believed to be 1800 years old and is performed daily. Legend has it if the flag is not changed, the temple will be shut down for 18 years.
Watching this daily change is believed to bring blessings and good fortune, with the flag being designed to always fly opposite to the wind direction, which is seen as a symbol of the Lord’s control over nature.

Is Comet 3I/ATLAS producing its own light?
At a minimum if the object is giving off light because it has some radioactive composition, this is extremely exciting. Either way it will be interesting to see new data over the course of weeks. Avi has been doing a great job creating interest in this object, NHI or not!

A plasma tornado on the sun…
This week, astronomers around the world have been monitoring a twister unraveling above the sun’s surface. The plasma tornado is a column of hot gas spiraling thousands of kilometers high:
This tornado is big enough to swallow our entire planet!
Unlike tornadoes on Earth, which are caused by pressure differences in the atmosphere, tornadoes on the sun are sculpted by magnetic fields, which grab clouds of plasma and whip them around. Wind speeds in this monster are topping 100,000 mph. If we rated it on the Fujita scale, it would be a F300. For comparison, the deadliest tornadoes on Earth are a “mere” F5.
