With only moderate fanfare, MSNBC has announced that the cable network will rebrand as "MS NOW,” with executives claiming the new name reflects independence and an insurgent spirit, while critics mock the move as hollow corporate spin.
Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger ridicule the network for getting nearly every major story wrong in recent years, from COVID and Russiagate to foreign wars, while still branding themselves as rebels. The two also mock the awkward rollout, the confusing name “MS NOW,” and the attempt to distance from NBC while still being part of a corporate conglomerate.
