California News:
Newsom has turned the Golden State into a golden toilet, in just over 6 years as governor. He should focus on finishing out his term serving the best interests of the state, the people and business.
In California, Governor Gavin Newsom and the state’s Democrats are clearly trying to turn the California Republic to the California Autocracy. We are nearly there with this radical Supermajority Legislature. The very policies they support are tyrannical and autocratic – many of their bills are filthy, foul and heinous, with lawmakers making their disdain for the people evident.
Remember when elected lawmakers made laws and wrote policy that people needed? We haven’t seen laws of substance since Pete Wilson was governor.
Palisades
Following the devastating January fires, far too many residents of Pacific Palisades have been prevented from rebuilding their homes by Gov. Newsom, Mayor Karen Bass, and the twisted bureaucracies participating in the scheme. Consequently, the people of Pacific Palisades are discussing “mass tort litigation against multiple public entities with coordinated legal strategies against LADWP (Los Angeles Department of Water and Power) – Primary defendant for both power and water infrastructure failures, and the City of Los Angeles – As LADWP’s parent entity and for municipal responsibilities, and possibly four more Potential Additional Defendants:
State of California – For dangerous condition of public property claims
Los Angeles County – For regional fire response and infrastructure
Sanitation Districts – For related infrastructure failures
Southern California Gas Company – For gas lines remaining open during the fire.”
Yet Gov. Newsom isn’t working to help the people burned out of their homes – he’s instead focused on fighting President Donald Trump.
Trump Successes
This is one of a string of examples of extreme reactions to Trump successes. Newsom, together with California State Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) and NYC Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani all have become highly vocal critics of Trump, as they each seek potential higher office in the near future.
“This fascist cuck in DC continues his assault on democracy and the Constitution, and his attempt to replace the sovereignty of the people with autocracy,” the California governor’s office posted on social media. “Sorry the Constitution hurt your feelings, Stephen. Cry harder,” the Los Angeles Times highlighted.
Gov. Newsom was referring to Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor. Stephen Miller says Gov. Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass are guilty of “Crimes against humanity” for preventing ICE agents access to criminal illegal aliens, and allowing criminal illegal aliens to live in sanctuary cities in a sanctuary state, raping, pillaging, murdering, and committing heinous crimes against Californians.
Miller said the Governor and Mayor of Los Angeles run the largest sanctuary city and sanctuary state, and refuse to turn over thousands of serial criminal illegal aliens to ICE so they get arrested by state and federal police, and deported. They then go on to commit assault, armed robbery, home invasions, and murder – “the most unimaginable crimes you can think of. All of that blood, all of that suffering, all of that heartache, squarely on the soul of California’s governor and the mayor of Los Angeles. they are guilty of ‘Crimes against humanity.’ They’re facilitating child trafficking, sex trafficking. They think this is a game, this is a joke. This is life and death.”
He’s right. And for that he’s called a “fascist cuck.”
Newsom’s media staff post most of his social media posts, including this one:
The wrong side of the law
Newsom and Democrats in California are lashing out on issues they will ultimately lose on because they are on the wrong side of the law: criminal illegal aliens, politicians redistricting, emptying out the state prisons, dangerous crime, sanctuary cities and sanctuary state, abortion sanctuary state, High Speed Rail, killing off the oil and gas industry, cutting water to agriculture, energy shortages,
“While Governor Gavin Newsom is closing one prison after another in California, criminal activity has not abated in our state for a myriad of reasons,” Andy Caldwell wrote in the Globe last week. “In the City of Santa Barbara, at their recent annual Old Spanish Days Fiesta celebration, one person was murdered while two others were wounded.”
Caldwell says that “in addition to offering extremely cheap bail, Santa Barbara County Supervisors have also pushed for a policy that allows people who are accused of serious crimes to walk freely after having been arraigned as it is their policy to not detain people in custody while awaiting trial. In other words, they would rather give people with long records a break rather than err on the side of public safety!”
The latest example is the semi-truck driver who allegedly killed three people while making a U-turn at an “Official Use Only” turn on the Florida Turnpike – he is an illegal immigrant who was granted a commercial driver’s license by the State of California.
Pair this obvious destruction of the once-golden state with this – in addition to 4 million Californians leaving California since the beginning of the century, businesses and even industries are building and expanding in other states:
“Look out, Hollywood—Fort Worth is getting into the film and television production business, big time.
In collaboration with Paramount Television, SGS Studios—founded by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, producer David Glasser, and Dan Schryer—has teamed up with Ross Perot Jr.’s Hillwood to build a 450,000-square-foot production campus. The two-building project is within AllianceTexas, Hillwood’s 27,000-acre development in North Fort Worth.
The two-building project—now the largest operating studio in Texas—is designed to handle four large-scale productions at one time and has already attracted a full slate of Paramount and 101 Studios projects.”
Sheridan says Texas offers something rare, and adds—“the space to dream big, the freedom to build fast, and a community that still believes storytelling matters.”
His “Season two of Landman created nearly 4,000 jobs—1,092 for crew, 192 for cast, and 2,572 extras. Glasser says SGS plans to create more than 15,000 jobs in total this year.”
California Demographer even said “California’s out-migration has come to resemble the pattern long associated with Rust Belt states.”
Redistricting
California Governor Gavin Newsom seeks political retribution against President Trump and Texas Governor Greg Abbott by eliminating five out of nine Republican districts to “save democracy.”
California voters approved in November 2010 Proposition 20 which empowers a bi-partisan independent panel for redistricting correlating to the every-ten-year US Census. Its is a constitutional amendment which shall conduct an open and transparent process enabling full public consideration of and comment on the drawing of district lines.
Governor Gavin Newsom’s proposal for a special election in November 2025 to redraw California’s congressional districts has quickly ignited fierce opposition from conservative leaders, reform advocates, and nonpartisan groups. His plan, which bypasses the state’s independent Citizens Redistricting Commission, is viewed as a partisan maneuver to secure Democratic control of competitive congressional seats. It violates constitutional mandates and undermines voter-approved reforms.
Once the district maps were leaked Friday, Will O’Neill, Chairman of the Orange County Republican Party; Former Newport Beach Mayor said:
Oh this is such garbage. The slicing and dicing of Orange County cities is obscene. Newport Beach split into two districts, with the top half packed in with … Long Beach? Fountain Valley now with Norwalk? In a district that looks like a hieroglyph? Mission Viejo appears to be split into three congressional districts? Much more analysis to come, but this is third-world dictator stuff.
CA State Assemblyman Carl DeMaio is filing a citizens’ initiative Monday to impose what he openly describes as a “poison pill” ban on any state legislator from seeking any elected office for the next 10 years if they vote this week in favor of nullifying the independent citizens redistricting commission or its existing non-partisan election maps.
“The state constitution already bans Independent Citizens’ Redistricting Commissioners from seeking elected office for 10 years – so if the politicians want to illegally seize back redistricting power from the citizens, it is only fitting that the ban against benefitting personally from those maps be imposed on them,” DeMaio said.
After the Democrats’ press conference Monday on their redistricting scheme, Assemblyman Carl DeMaio said, “What’s happening in this building is pure corruption. It is illegal, it is unfair. We now have evidence that three sitting legislators have traded their vote for a seat in Congress with this corrupt deal. This is vote rigging happening inside our legislature. It’s absolutely corrupt to the core.”
This action by Newsom is yet another example of his reckless disregard of the will of voters. Just last November, California’s passed a law which modifies the notorious Proposition 47, the measure which wreaked havoc in California cities by all but decriminalizing theft under $950. Newsom opposed the Proposition, but voters passed it anyway in every county, and in great numbers, and Gov. Newsom refused to fund the programs in cities to increase law enforcement.
Newsom disrespects Democracy. He chooses what laws he likes and follows, and ignores others. That is not a Democracy. This is an attack on voter-approved process.
Newsom’s claim his plan would “end Trump’s presidency.” Intelligent people know that is entirely untrue as it’s not a vote to remove Trump early. But low-information voters may fall for this malicious propaganda.
Newsom is playing a high-stakes game for national attention when he is clearly setting up for a presidential run. He’s not the frontrunner and such power plays and gimmicks get voter’s attention.
He’s doing his best to differentiate himself for Kamala Harris who was a disaster of a candidate mere months ago. Newsom is fighting, and loudly.
Politico poll results found that voters want to keep the independent redistricting commission and not allow the California Legislature to redistrict: 62% Gen Z, through 77% of seniors. Also in the poll study: 72% of Democrats, 66% of Republicans and 61% of independents said they want to keep the commission. Newsom’s got a tough battle.
Newsom knows he’s breaking the law, but he has a long history of doing that when he doesn’t like the law. Now it’s become painfully obvious to voters across the country just how destructive and malicious pompous Newsom and California Democrats are.
