
The NYPD says they are investigating a suspicious package found outside its Times Square facility Tuesday morning.
What we know:
Officers responded to a 911 call around 10:32 a.m. reporting a suspicious package at West 43rd Street and Seventh Avenue. The Emergency Service Unit and the bomb squad were called to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
Police confirmed the package was located at the front door of the NYPD facility in Times Square. Authorities have not released further details, and the situation remains active.
SkyFOX flew over Times Square where police could be seen parked around the area.
