Haters have been looking for excuses to hate Chris Pratt for years. The equation is loves Jesus + likes to hunt + respects our military + loves America = one of them MAGA people. He’s never spoken out about politics, but by not going out of your way to convey hatred for Donald Trump, left-wing logic dictates that means he loves him and they hate him accordingly.
He still hasn’t spoken out on politics, but he got dangerously close on Bill Maher’s “Club Random.” Close enough that left-wing journalismers will be moving on from Sydney Sweeney today.
The two were dipping their toes into politics. Mainly, how it’s healthy to have conversations with people you don’t agree with 100%. Bill Maher pointed to one of Pratt’s in-laws, Robert Kennedy Jr., as someone with whom he agrees on some issues and disagrees on others. One thing they both agreed on was that, mayhaps, we don’t need all the poison we put into our food. (shouts to clip god Jason Cohen).
I’d hate to be so mired in hatred for the president that any success from his administration is something I’d have an allergic reaction to — to be like, ‘Oh, well, if they do it, I don’t want it to happen. I’ll put Clorox in my children’s cereal myself!
Politics is silly like that.
You know, it’s like, come on, be reasonable here. There are certain things that would be a good thing to have. I want them all to be successful.
I disagree about wanting “them all” to be successful. Do I want AMERICA to be successful? Duh, obviously. However, when America was under the control of the People Who Controlled Joe Biden Administration, their success would be detrimental to America. I get the point he was trying to make, but let it play out a little and, just… no.
But if the people Who Controlled Joe Biden Administration did anything I agree with, I would say, “Hey, they got this one right. Good for them.”
Hating anyone who disagrees with you on any single issue isn’t a virtue. Also, my experience in talking to and hanging out with people who disagree with me is that disagreements rarely arise. We mostly talk about family, sports, and the like.
If it’s holidays at the Kennedy compound and I’m having cigars and bourbon with RFK Jr and my father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, I’d rather just joke around. Sounds like Chris Pratt is the same way.
