Trump Orders English Requirement for HUD Housing and Federal Benefits
- Earlier this year, President Trump signed an executive order establishing English as the official language of the United States. Now, he is requiring English usage in housing assistance programs and some other benefits programs. And as usual, Democrats and liberals are outraged.
- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is a federal agency that provides housing assistance to low-income Americans through programs such as Section 8 rental vouchers, public housing units managed by local authorities, emergency aid for the homeless, first-time homebuyer support, and community development projects.
- HUD is adopting an English-only policy for nearly all of its services, following President Trump’s March 2025 executive order that made English the official language of the United States for the first time in the nation’s history. The order revoked President Clinton’s 2000 directive requiring federal agencies and federally funded programs to provide language assistance for people with limited English proficiency (LEP).

- On June 10, 2025, Ofcom, the UK’s Orwellian Office of Communications, opened an official investigation into 4chan.
- According to Ofcom, the platform failed to hand over information on demand, did not file the “appropriate illegal content risk assessments,” and didn’t bow to London’s censorship mandates. In other words, 4chan refused to bend the knee.
- By August 13, Ofcom escalated matters, issuing a provisional notice of contravention under the Act and threatening fines of £20,000 ($27,100) plus daily penalties until the platform complied.

The Press Response to Trump’s D.C. Crime Crackdown Devolves Into Absolute Absurdity
- , The Washington Post had its reporters ride around the city on routes supposedly traveled by Trump. The claim? The fact that none of them were stabbed or murdered proves how safe D.C. is.
“Violent gangs and bloodthirsty criminals, roving mobs of wild youth, drugged-out maniacs and homeless people,” President Donald Trump said during a news conference on Monday. There’s “graffiti all over the walls” and “potholes in the roads,” not to mention the medians — “they’re always broken, bad, but here they’re really bad.”
- The first fallacy is immediately apparent. The article bases all its conclusions about the city only on what Trump “sees…from the back of his armored limousine” by tracing some of his normal drives to and from the White House. The president has never denied that many of his accounts of D.C. are secondhand, though. Why wouldn’t they be? Is Trump supposed to go walk around the Navy Yard at midnight? And if he doesn’t, does that mean the crime in those areas ceases to exist?
- Then consider the conditions in which the Post did this supposed “research.” They had their reporters do these routes during the day. When does most crime, especially violent crime, happen? That would be at night. It also doesn’t happen in areas typically frequented by the presidential motorcade. Further, the reporters were riding around after Trump had already deployed federal authorities to patrol the streets. Everything about the Post’s conclusions ranges from deeply flawed to laughably dishonest.

The swing states sent them out, but then destroyed the ones for Trump and printed new ones for Biden, which did not have the watermark with the QFS Blockchain Encryption Code.
