Mr. Thompson, Daily Beast,
Why did you call President Trump “shallow” for enforcing the unwritten dress code at the White House in regards to the upcoming visit to the Oval Office by the corrupt liberal thief of American taxpayer money, Ukraines joke of a President Zelensky?
When I ate breakfast at the White House back in the day with President Bush’s Chief of Staff and Condoliza Rice I respected the structure’s symbol of the Presidency and its role as a functioning and respected government building.
It is important to show respect for this institution and its occupants. I thus followed the unwritten rule and wore a suit to breakfast.
Even though DELTA airlines lost my luggage containing my suit during my trip to Washington DC I was able to borrow a nice alternative at 4 AM (which was 3 hours before my breakfast in the White House) from the hotel manager where I was staying,
It is also interesting to note even some restaurants in England in your socialist country of residence require a dress code to enter or refuse entry for non compliance for a sit down meal. But you won’t write about that because it does not attack or insult the President of the United States.
The White House does not have a written policy in place regarding a dress code, but it is understood that one respects the honor of being invited into this hallowed historical building wearing appropriate attire.
This applies to all people. I was also disappointed to see MAGA DOGE hero Elon Musk not dressed appropriately in the Oval Office also, not just the corrupt clown Zelensky.
President Trump should NOT allow Zelensky to enter the White House dressed like a homeless ninja to continue his begging for more American taxpayer money or crying for an end to the war which is primarily the focus of President Trump to save Russian and Ukrainian lives. Respect should be shown especially from heads of state, even corrupt ones.
The good news is that DELTA airlines finally found my lost luggage and brought it to my hotel so I was able to continue my appointments at the White House in my original suit and I returned the borrowed one to the hotel manager ( who was the same size as me) with a nice gratuity. (See photos)
Bottom feeding low life Marxists posing as a journalist like yourself should show respect to the office of the Presidency with your reporting, maybe then you will make more money, but with that said I will definitely recommend you never get a working or tourist visa to enter our great republic.
I remember in 2022 one of the first things newly elected Prime Minister of England Liz Truss implemented was a strict dress code of suits and ties etc to enter and work in 10 Downing Street. No Ninja outfits allowed. Most unfortunate she is not the current Prime Minister. Why did you not cover that story Mr. Thompson?
You are right when you said that MAGA world patriots are showing concern over the dress code at the White House not being enforced to ensure respect for this institution.
Marxists do not seem to care about such rules of statesmanship. Karl Marx was a filthy, slovenly unkempt bum much like his followers today who write about Trump being shallow regarding dress codes not his policy substance.
Hopefully you will learn to respect the office of the Presidency in the White House with your juvenile stories even if you disagree with the White House occupants’ policies.
