Ex-FBI Director James Comey Sends Weird Love Note To Taylor Swift

James Comey, fired as Director of the FBI more than eight years ago, sent a weird love note to Taylor Swift. He posted a five minute video that the most Swift-obsessed 13 year old girl would find icky. Cringe? Comey passed cringe in the first minute. Comey has incurable Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). Yes, the former Director is a broken man, but Taylor Swift?

If for reasons of your sanity you haven’t seen this video, sorry, here it is:

First of all, at 1:30, Comey says that Taylor Swift produces great art. Are you freaking kidding me? Where is this great art? It isn’t in her bubble gum/cotton candy releases. Her bad boyfriend songs. I liked this type of music when I was growing up and still listen to it occasionally. BUT, I know it ain’t great and it ain’t art.

Places like The Hill write that Conservatives are “mocking Comey”, but come on, if you aren’t mocking this video, you are as delusional as “James the Freak”:

Conservatives are mocking former FBI Director James Comey over a post he made Sunday on his Substack in which he discussed his admiration for pop superstar Taylor Swift.

The post features a video of Comey calling Swift “a truly inspirational public figure” and noting her recent appearance on NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast “New Heights.”

“A truly inspirational public figure”? By what metric? People in the public eye tend to let you down. Try your own life for inspiration. More:

“Taylor Swift and I go way back. I went to my first concert of hers 15 years ago. I’ve been to a second, and I have helped financially support the attendance of a lot of family members and others. I’m in a family’s Swiftie group chat. I know all her music, and I listen to it in my headphones when I cut the grass,” Comey said in the video.

In response to Comey’s video, conservative personality Benny Johnson said, “A new James Comey hostage video just dropped.”

“This time he calls himself a ‘Swiftie’ and says Taylor Swift helps him cope with Donald Trump. You really can’t make this up,” Johnson added in a Sunday post on the social platform X.

The former FBI director is helped to cope with President Donald Trump by Taylor Swift? Well, the 6’8″ former FBI Director did try to hide in the drapes in the White House once:

The incident happened at a Jan. 22 ceremony Trump held in the White House’s Blue Room for law enforcement leaders, the New York Times reported Thursday. Comey’s friend Benjamin Wittes — who spoke to the Times and wrote his own blog post mentioning the incident — said the then–FBI director didn’t want to attend the ceremony because he wanted to maintain distance and independence from the White House.

However, Comey felt he couldn’t turn down a White House invitation so he went, according to Wittes.

At the ceremony, Comey noticed that the curtains in the room were blue — the same color as his suit. So “he stood in the back, right in front of the drapes, hoping Trump wouldn’t notice him camouflaged against the wall,” Wittes wrote.

Listening to Tay-Tay and trying to hide in the drapes? What in the Heckfire kind of vetting do they have at the FBI?

Speaking of which ex-CIA Buck Sexton is correct that these people are not that impressive and they are world class losers:

Poor Comey, James is a 64 year old man with emotional maturity of a 13 year old girl. He loves the oeuvre of a lip-syncing marketing creation. Buck Sexton is right. They are all world class losers. Shake it off!
