President Trump to sign executive order to help eliminate mail-in ballots and voting machines before the 2026 midterm elections, calling them inaccurate, expensive, and fraudulent, and will be replacing them with watermarked paper ballots to be counted on Election Night.
Democrats want mail in voting so they can cheat in elections.
Having to fight repeatedly in the court system just to date a mail in ballot illustrates how subverted and corrupted the voting system is.
For well over a decade, the Democrat party of treason acted with impunity and absolute disrefard for the American people and our national interest. This was made possible by election rigging and fraud. That must end.
France banned mail-in voting in 1975 due to fraud
Mexico banned mail-in voting in 1992 due to fraud
Belgium banned mail-in voting in 2018 due to fraud.
Sweden does not permit mail-in voting.
Italy does not permit mail-in voting.
Ukraine does not permit mail-in voting….

President Trump on Truth Social:
I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we’re at it, Highly “Inaccurate,” Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES, which cost Ten Times more than accurate and sophisticated Watermark Paper, which is faster, and leaves NO DOUBT, at the end of the evening, as to who WON, and who LOST, the Election. We are now the only Country in the World that uses Mail-In Voting. All others gave it up because of the MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD ENCOUNTERED. WE WILL BEGIN THIS EFFORT, WHICH WILL BE STRONGLY OPPOSED BY THE DEMOCRATS BECAUSE THEY CHEAT AT LEVELS NEVER SEEN BEFORE, by signing an EXECUTIVE ORDER to help bring HONESTY to the 2026 Midterm Elections. Remember, the States are merely an “agent” for the Federal Government in counting and tabulating the votes. They must do what the Federal Government, as represented by the President of the United States, tells them, FOR THE GOOD OF OUR COUNTRY, to do. With their HORRIBLE Radical Left policies, like Open Borders, Men Playing in Women’s Sports, Transgender and “WOKE” for everyone, and so much more, Democrats are virtually Unelectable without using this completely disproven Mail-In SCAM. ELECTIONS CAN NEVER BE HONEST WITH MAIL IN BALLOTS/VOTING, and everybody, IN PARTICULAR THE DEMOCRATS, KNOWS THIS. I, AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, WILL FIGHT LIKE HELL TO BRING HONESTY AND INTEGRITY BACK TO OUR ELECTIONS. THE MAIL-IN BALLOT HOAX, USING VOTING MACHINES THAT ARE A COMPLETE AND TOTAL DISASTER, MUST END, NOW!!! REMEMBER, WITHOUT FAIR AND HONEST ELECTIONS, AND STRONG AND POWERFUL BORDERS, YOU DON’T HAVE EVEN A SEMBLANCE OF A COUNTRY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!!! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
If all mail in ballots, drop boxes and voting machines were declared illegal……Democrats would never win another election. https://t.co/T9FaW8K5YZ

Nick Adams writes:
President Trump just announced what might be the most important of many important Executive Orders of the year. Election integrity ought to be an issue on which all Americans can agree. We want elections to be fair. We want votes counted fast. We want a clear paper trail providing a record of all votes.
This is what the President’s Executive Order establishes. It is a return to common sense, fairness, and impartiality. How could anyone disagree with it?
The answer is both clear and frightening. In-person voting is safer than mail-in voting. Therefore, those who favor our broken mail-in voting system de facto want elections to be less safe. Furthermore, paper ballots are much more straightforward than voting machines. Therefore, those who prefer cumbersome machines to normal paper ballots clearly want elections to be more confusing, something that will inspire less confidence in our elections than tried-and-true paper.
It is time to move away from the horrific trend of ballot gathering and counting that influences election outcomes. Election outcomes must once again be based on only one thing—the confidence of the electorate in a candidate.
In his statement on the forthcoming Executive Order, the President made it clear that in federal elections, states act as “agents” of the federal government and therefore are obligated to comply with the order.
I have little doubt that those who thrive on the confusion and slowness of mail-in ballots will use the courts to try to upset the progress of this great Executive Order, but I have every confidence that no matter how hard the fight, the battle for election integrity and transparency will be won.
Those who complain about “democracy being in danger” ought to be celebrating today’s announcement. France, arguably our oldest ally, began phasing out electronic voting machines over 17 years ago. Prior to this, in the 1970s, mail-in voting was banned in France. The results speak for themselves. A large European country with a complex election system, due to its system of presidential runoffs, is able to tabulate votes within a couple of hours of polls closing. There is no funny business, and while French voters have strong opinions about their politicians, they have full confidence in their voting system.
As the world’s leading democracy, the United States must return to its position as a shining city on a hill where elections are universally regarded as fair. The President’s Executive Order will allow us to once again be an exemplary democracy that has the confidence of all Americans and is looked to throughout the world as a model for countries wishing to bask in the light of liberty, freedom, and democracy.
Thank you, President Trump, for today’s announcement. It is long overdue.
Trump says he’ll sign order targetting mail-in ballots, voting machines ahead of 2026 midterms
By Ryan King, NY Post, Aug. 18, 2025:
President Trump unveiled plans Monday to sign an executive order claiming to “help bring HONESTY to the 2026 Midterm Elections” by banning both mail-in voting and electronic tabulation machines.
“I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we’re at it, Highly ‘Inaccurate,’ Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES,” Trump declared on Truth Social.
The president did not provide any evidence to back up his claims that voting machines are “highly inaccurate.” Most voters live in municipalities where they cast paper ballots that are scanned by voting machines and are subject to multiple checks to ensure accuracy.
“WE WILL BEGIN THIS EFFORT, WHICH WILL BE STRONGLY OPPOSED BY THE DEMOCRATS BECAUSE THEY CHEAT AT LEVELS NEVER SEEN BEFORE, by signing an EXECUTIVE ORDER to help bring HONESTY to the 2026 Midterm Elections,” Trump went on.
The president did not elaborate on what the executive order would entail or when he would sign it.
Elections in the US are largely decentralized and administered at the state and local level, with some input from the federal government.
There are several laws on the books, such as the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, that lay federal ground rules for states and municipalities.
The Federal Election Commission oversees campaign practices by candidates seeking national office, the Election Assistance Commission provides resources to states and local governments in administering elections and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency works to protect voting infrastructure.
Back in March 2021, President Joe Biden signed an executive order instructing federal agencies to find ways to expand voter registration — a move that was heavily criticized by Republicans.
Trump signed an executive order in March attempting to block states from tabulating mail-in ballots that have been postmarked by Election Day but delivered after the polls closed. That order was blocked by a court in June from taking effect, with a judge finding the president lacked the authority to impose such a rule.
Trump insisted Monday that he does have the authority to tell states how to handle vote counting.
“Remember, the States are merely an ‘agent’ for the Federal Government in counting and tabulating the votes. They must do what the Federal Government, as represented by the President of the United States, tells them, FOR THE GOOD OF OUR COUNTRY, to do,” he wrote.
The president’s renewed interest in election processes appears to have been triggered by his summit with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday.
“You know, Vladimir Putin said something, one of the most interesting things,” Trump recounted during a post-summit interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.
“He said, ‘Your election [in 2020] was rigged because you have mail-in voting.’ He said, ‘Mail-in voting, every election.’ He said, ‘No country has mail-in voting. It’s impossible to have mail-in voting and have honest elections.’”
Putin also claimed that if Trump had won re-election in 2020, the war in Ukraine wouldn’t have happened, according to the commander-in-chief.
“ELECTIONS CAN NEVER BE HONEST WITH MAIL IN BALLOTS/VOTING, and everybody, IN PARTICULAR THE DEMOCRATS, KNOWS THIS,” Trump concluded. “I, AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, WILL FIGHT LIKE HELL TO BRING HONESTY AND INTEGRITY BACK TO OUR ELECTIONS.”
