President Donald Trump has never been one to mince words, and on Thursday, he delivered another scorched-earth press conference that pulled no punches—especially when it came to Sen. Elizabeth Warren and her latest foray into the far-left corner of the Democratic Party.
Standing behind the Resolute Desk, the President was fielding questions on everything from Russian relations to federalized law enforcement in Washington, D.C., when a reporter brought up the familiar charge from Democrats that Trump plans to gut Social Security. What followed was a vintage Trump performance—equal parts policy defense and political flamethrower.
LOL— @POTUS WRIPS Sen. Warren to SHREDS!
“Warren said she was an Indian. We call her Pocahontas. She’s a liar…
…I watched her the other night. She was all hopped up, endorsing a communist in NYC. She was all excited and jumping up & down. She has GOT to take a drug test.” pic.twitter.com/hjccq1pqMY

“They just lie,” Trump said flatly, before pivoting sharply to Warren, whom he again referred to by his now-infamous nickname: “Pocahontas.”
“She’s a liar,” he declared. “She lied about being an Indian to get into college, to get jobs… Her whole career is a fraud built on a fantasy. And she’s also a nut job.” From there, the President unleashed a barrage against the Massachusetts senator for endorsing New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani—a self-identified democratic socialist whose campaign has been embraced by the party’s radical wing.
“She’s all hopped up, jumping around, endorsing a communist,” Trump said. “She needs to take a drug test. I’m not kidding. Nobody acts like that unless something is wrong.”

As usual, Trump’s comments lit up the internet—and the headlines. The New York Post took the opportunity to revive Warren’s discredited Native American ancestry claims with a front page that read, “African American Meets Native American”—a biting reference to both Warren and Mamdani’s questionable heritage narratives. The visual jab resonated with critics, especially considering Mamdani’s own murky background of racial self-identification on college applications. As RedState’s Sister Toldjah noted, “The peace pipe optics practically wrote themselves.”
During their rally, Warren gushed over Mamdani’s progressive proposals on housing affordability and grocery experiments—yes, groceries—claiming “That is the Democratic message.” To Trump, it was further evidence that the party has gone entirely off the rails.
.@POTUS: “People are so happy to see our military going into D.C. and getting these thugs out.”

But the sharpest contrast of the day may have come not in words, but in actions. While Warren was endorsing a self-described socialist with grand grocery schemes, Trump was talking about law and order in the streets of D.C. Following the federal takeover of the Metropolitan Police Department, Trump reported the arrest of dozens of criminals as part of his sweeping anti-crime push. “People are so happy to see our military going into D.C. and getting these thugs out,” he said. “We arrested a lot of people yesterday. We arrested a lot of people today.”
