If you want to watch movies on your TV, you need to subscribe to something like Disney, Cinemax, Netflix or one of the many other replacements for Blockbuster Video, where we went to rent VHS tapes.
Chances are, you watch stuff on your smart phone that you subscribe to for a monthly fee, also. If you have Ring you pay Amazon a monthly fee to make it work even though you bought the technology and it would work anyway if Amazon hadn’t added software to make it not work unless you pay and pay, and you probably already pay them a monthly fee for Amazon Prime so you can watch their movies along with getting free shipping on purchases.
You pay a monthly subscription fee for smart phone service which includes a monthly fee for Internet service. You probably have subscriptions with Amazon for your medications, certain foods and other items.
If you bought a “self-driving” car, so called, you have to pay a monthly fee to keep it working. A new Ford car is out that has a device in it that lowers it’s horsepower and if you want more horsepower you have to subscribe to it with a monthly fee so they’ll keep it turned on. Forget to pay, down goes the horsepower again.
We’re being forced into a Subscribe Or Die lifestyle and the only way to escape it is to go off the grid. Go primitive like the Amish. They use phones now and other heretical devices of the modern world but they don’t use electricity in their homes, just candles and kerosene lamps for light at night, wood stoves to cook and heat, and so on, and they thrive.
Of course, most people don’t want the Amish way of life so they Subscribe to all the necessities of On The Grid life, but beware, all you subscribers, it’s a trap designed to own you and own your lives. What if you were denied cell phone service right now, permanently? Your world would crash into the dirt. You’d be lost, frozen, unable to move.
Control is coming to you subscribers, lots of control, and you will obey because you’ll have to either subscribe or die.
