A stunning scandal is unfolding after Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, the Executive Director of Israel’s Cyber Directorate, was arrested in Nevada during a sting operation targeting online child predators.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Alexandrovich was one of eight men arrested over the past two weeks in a multi-agency operation. He now faces felony charges of “Luring a Child with a Computer for Sex Act.”
But here’s where it gets shocking.
Despite the LVMPD confirming the arrest, Israel is flat-out denying it ever happened. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office released a statement insisting that Alexandrovich was “not arrested” and simply “questioned” by U.S. authorities while traveling for “professional matters.”
“The employee, who does not hold a diplomatic visa, was not arrested and returned to Israel as scheduled,” Netanyahu’s office claimed.
Yet LVMPD’s official statement tells a completely different story: “A multi-agency operation targeting child sex predators led to the arrest of eight individuals over the last two weeks,” including the 38-year-old Alexandrovich.
So which is it? An innocent misunderstanding, or a powerful government covering for one of its top cyber officials?
Even more disturbing, Alexandrovich has since been released and returned to Israel—leaving Americans to wonder if justice will ever be served.
This case raises enormous questions: Why is Israel denying an arrest that U.S. authorities confirmed? And how can a man accused of such heinous crimes walk free so quickly?
What we’re watching may be more than just a scandal—it could be an international cover-up.
