“Enlightened” Energy: Why Did Florida Power and Light (FPL) suspend Rate Hearings?

We know that power bills for ratepayers in Florida have escalated sharply in the last two years, and are scheduled for more of the same same in the next 4+ years. People are NOT happy, and have told FP&L AND Tallahassee just that. The push for increasing the state’s reliance on unreliable and expensive solar energy is behind the rate hikes AND, quite possibly, the closed hearings.

Social programs, especially those proven to be based on fallacies, have no place in provision of the basics of a civilized society. Yet, they do.

Another power provider, an 8-state utility, XCEL Energy, OPENLY spends $3 billion on LGBTQ and other “social programs” It is based in Minneapolis, MN. Surprise, surprise. It’s victims, aka “customers”, are not happy, either. Kind of reminds me of the full-court press of Florida’s utilities for solar, another UNAgenda program.

Is Florida Power and Light also “enlightened”? Have they forgotten about actually lighting their customer’s lives for the best possible use of ratepayer dollars? Do they CARE if this is NOT what the people want? They are focused on a 10-year expansion of solar power for their customers in the state. That is the power of choice among the cabal of Globalists, as we know. Bringing society back into the literal dark ages is also one of their goals. It all fits.

Solar energy is very expensive, minimally useful, destroys open space and agricultural lands, AND presents a massive recycling problem down the road. Natural Gas, nuclear and even coal, are clean, less costly and MORE realable, according to energy experts. See my post on Florida’s energy future, here.
