Canada’s largest euthanasia industry has been booming as the government ramps up its ever-expanding “assisted suicide” agenda.
Kelsi Sheren, a Canadian combat veteran and host of The Kelsi Sheren Perspective, has made it her mission to expose the controversial and dangerous “charity” MAiDHouse.
MAiDHouse is an organization that is profiting from euthanasia under the Canadian government’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program.
Sheren, a fierce critic of the MAiD policies, calls out the organization’s deceptive marketing tactics, labeling it a “modern-day eugenics facility” that preys on vulnerable individuals in their weakest moments.
In a powerful video posted to social media, Sheren detailed how MAiDHouse, which has doubled its business in 2023, is expanding its operations to offer assisted death as a “compassionate” option.
However, Sheren is anything but convinced of their benevolent motives.
According to Sheren, the facility’s true purpose is not to provide care but to profit from people’s despair, all while disguising its operations behind the mask of charity and choice.
MAiDHouse operates as a nonprofit, with locations in Toronto, Ontario, and Victoria, British Columbia, marketing itself as a compassionate place for individuals to end their lives.
Sheren calls it a “death care” facility, not healthcare, and critiques how they use active marketing strategies to attract people to use their services.
She accuses MAiDHouse of “predatory” practices, operating a business model that prioritizes death over life.
MAiDHouse is part of the broader push for euthanasia policies, which have been rapidly expanding not only in Canada but around the world.
Sheren notes that the global movement is growing, with the UK recently passing a euthanasia bill and multiple U.S. states now considering legislation for “doctor-assisted dying.”
But the crux of Sheren’s argument is the moral and ethical decay that comes with normalizing the termination of human life.
She sharply criticizes the policies that enable euthanasia, arguing that these facilities prey on the vulnerable, such as those who are mentally ill, homeless, or struggling with their circumstances.
They then push these people toward death rather than providing them with the help, care, and dignity they deserve.
