With a hilariously brutal message, Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott put a stop to Governor of California Gavin Newsom’s crazy advice giving.
He likewise encouraged the return of the wayward Texas communists/globalists who fled the state to avoid performing their jobs.
Simply put, Abbott said he still has plenty in his arsenal in this fight over redistricting.
Speaking to Glenn Beck on Beck’s podcast Wednesday, Abbott literally laughed off Newsom who threatened him the day before to stop his plans to vote on a new congressional map that will give Republicans five more seats or else he would, somehow, add five more seats in California to nullify the move, in a state which the communist/globalist crime syndicate has already thoroughly gerrymandered to benefit their party.

“Oh, my God,” Abbott replied, before breaking into laughter.
Further:
Give me a break. For one, there’s so many things wrong with that.
He explained:
In Texas, for us to redraw congressional lines and make sure that people in Texas are going to have the ability to vote for the Republican candidate of their choice in these congressional seats, all it requires is for the governor to call a special session on it and for a majority of the Texas House and Senate to vote on it.
And:
[Newsom] is kind of like someone who shows up to a gunfight but forgot to bring the bullets because he doesn’t have any bullets to shoot in this fight.
He continued:
Whereas Texas has plenty of bullets to shoot—to make sure that we will maintain a congressional district in Texas that’s going to be more Republican, more representative of the values, and votes in our state.
Abbott further explained the move was not merely to ensure Republican representation in the Congress for the state, but to act as a bit of a safety net in case the Left in blue states like California:
[Go] full scale and really rig the system the way that Gavin Newsom is talking about doing. If those rules apply, then Texas can gain more ground than California can.
Recall, this exchange came after Texas communist/globalist state representatives fled the state to deny a quorum to vote on the state’s redistricting plans.
Interestingly enough, they fled to broken and indebted blue states like Illinois and New York. And hearing communist/globalist failed Illinois Governor JB Pritzker attacking Texas for its redistricting plans was a case in point. Even leftwing shows like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert appropriately pointed out how insanely Pritzker’s state had been gerrymandered to benefit the failed communist/globalist system.
However, all this nonsense in Texas could soon be over, as RedState reported:
According o ABC News, the runaways who claimed to be saving ‘democracy’ are heading back to their home state early, claiming to have accomplished their goal of raising ‘awareness’ about gerrymandering. That’s a very polite way of saying they failed miserably.
Further:
In other words, the pressure campaign put forth by Republicans was effective. That included stopping direct deposits of paychecks and promising to call multiple special sessions to keep these Texas [Leftists] stranded in blue states indefinitely unless they returned to provide a quorum.
And:
They were also incurring daily fines. That all started to add up for the legislators who aren’t independently wealthy, and it was just a matter of time before the donor class got tired of funding a dead end. You also have to factor in time away from family members.
Then, the simple coup de grace:
None of it was ever sustainable.
Indeed, this has been a pleasure watching Republicans superbly managing the offensive for a change.
The Trump effect, no doubt! God speed, Mr. president.
