Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has been declassifying documents that expose a subversive plot at the highest levels of the Obama administration’s intelligence community to smear and undermine then-incoming President-elect Donald Trump with fraudulent and manufactured allegations of Russian collusion and support in the 2016 election.
This week, Gabbard released an email chain that showed her Obama-era predecessor, former DNI James Clapper, suppressed the legitimate concerns of a fellow intelligence chief about the rushed bypassing of “normal” procedures to prepare and present a hastily assembled report, according to the Daily Mail.
The email also revealed how Clapper urged his comrades to be on the “same page” and supportive of “OUR story,” as he stressed the importance of sticking together on the anti-Trump effort that he described as a “team sport.”
“Concerns” raised about lack of access to intelligence underlying the report
On Wednesday, DNI Gabbard released a two-page email chain from December 22, 2016, that involved then-DNI Clapper, then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-FBI Director James Comey, and then-National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers that discussed their collective “Russian Response Planning.”
Rogers raised “concerns” about his team’s lack of “sufficient access to the underlying intelligence and sufficient time to review that intelligence” that would be included in the now-infamous Intelligence Community Assessment of January 2017 that purported to claim that Russia hacked and manipulated the 2016 election in support of then-candidate Donald Trump.
He noted that “given the expedited nature of this activity, my folks aren’t fully comfortable saying that they have had enough time to review all of the intelligence to be absolutely confident in their assessments,” though he added that his team didn’t necessarily “disagree substantively” with the preset conclusion that Russia had aided Trump’s victory.
Anti-Trump report “has to be a team sport”
In response to Rogers’ concerns, Clapper replied that it was “essential” for the “CIA/NSA/FBI/ODNI” to all “be on the same page” and “supportive” of the report, “in the highest tradition of ‘that’s OUR story, and we’re stickin’ to it.'”
He went on to reference the draft report prepared by the “ad hoc fusion cell” — a small, hand-picked team created by Brennan, per the Daily Mail — and suggested that while he would try to “facilitate as much mutual transparency as possible” before the report was completed, “more time is not negotiable.”
“We may have to compromise on our ‘normal’ modalities, since we must do this on such a compressed schedule,” Clapper concluded. “This is one project that has to be a team sport.”
Gabbard has exposed Obama’s conspiracy against Trump
In a press release to announce the declassified email chain, Gabbard said in a statement, “The leading figures in the Russia Hoax have spent years deceiving the American public by presenting their manufactured and politicized assessments as credible intelligence.”
“The email released today reinforces what we already exposed: the decision to compromise standards and violate protocols in the creation of the 2017 manufactured intelligence assessment was deliberate and came from the very top,” she added. “Clapper’s own words confirm that complying with the order to manufacture intelligence was a ‘team sport.'”
This is just the latest in a series of bombshell releases from Gabbard that began in mid-July with the initial exposure of the Obama administration’s treasonous “conspiracy to subvert” and undermine President Trump with a “politicized” intelligence community assessment based on fraudulent and manufactured information about supposed Russian interference in the 2016 election.
She later further revealed that the anti-Trump plot was first hatched by failed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign and that additional intelligence on Russia that ran counter to or debunked the narrative was deliberately excluded or downplayed by the Obama intelligence agencies.
Gabbard also highlighted recently how an unnamed “senior intelligence official” turned whistleblower had faced threats and retribution, after first being silenced and ignored, for repeatedly attempting to expose the “manipulated intelligence” underlying the false Trump-Russia collusion claims.
