Bill Clinton Named as ‘Prime Suspect’ in Jeffrey Epstein Investigation

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has publicly named former President Bill Clinton as the “prime suspect” in Congress’s ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s network.

Appearing on Newsmax, Comer confirmed the committee is pursuing answers about Clinton’s repeated flights on Epstein’s jet. He also noted Clinton’s reported visits to Epstein’s private island, Little St. James. The secluded location was known locally as “Pedohpile Island” due to the underage girls and older men who were seen frequently visiting Little St. James.

Host Rob Finnerty told Comer:

The American people want to know what happened on Epstein Island.

He explained:

We’ve all heard reports that Bill Clinton was a frequent visitor there.

He’s a prime suspect to be deposed by the House Oversight.

Hopefully, we’ll win that court battle with that subpoena and see President Clinton in October.

Last week, Comer revealed the Oversight Committee issued subpoenas to multiple figures tied to the Epstein saga. Those figures include prominent political and intelligence community insiders.

The House Oversight Committee is compelling the following individuals to appear for depositions through issued subpoenas:

• Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton: October 9
• Former President Bill Clinton: October 14
• Former U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland: October 2
• Former FBI Director James Comey: October 7
• Former U.S. Attorney General William Barr: August 18
• Former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales: August 26
• Former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions: August 28
• Former FBI Director Robert Mueller: September 2
• Former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch: September 9
• Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder: September 30

Comer told Newsmax:

Yes. I think we have a very good chance at this. I’ve never lost a subpoena battle.

Further:

I’ve been chairman of that committee for a year and a half. This is the most challenging subpoena I’ve ever issued.

And:

But what makes this subpoena different is that the Democrats voted with Republicans. This is a bipartisan, congressionally approved subpoena, and I think that will hold a lot of weight in court.

Underscoring that the legal battle could be one of the highest-profile congressional subpoena fights in years, Comer added:

You’re absolutely right; he’s going to have the best lawyers in America fighting us tooth and toenail on this.
