Social Security (SS), like any unconstitutional, socialist, and bloated government program, is ripe for fraud. And God help us, how rife with fraud it has become.
The Trump administration uncovered millions of illegitimate SS recipients profiting off our taxpayer dollars. The White House posted on Aug.14:
President Trump, on the 90th Anniversary of the Social Security Act, is strengthening Social Security for ALL AMERICANS:
✅ No tax on Social Security for seniors
✅ Removed 275,000 illegal aliens from the system
✅ 12.4 million names over 120 years old removed from database
Now, Trump is proud of himself for “protecting” Social Security, which is foolish, because while he might be keeping some old voters in the short term, in the long term SS is heading quickly into bankruptcy. We will soon have more people needing it than people paying into it, which isn’t sustainable. But at least Trump cleaned up SS considerably. It was in crying need of reform.
