DeSantis’ Tag For Himself!
Filching a title, customarily granted to the President of the United States, Governor Ronald B. DeSantis has begun passing out coins like the one pictured above. Is this new venture financed by the “Ron PAC”? Ahhh, “dark money”.
DeGov’s small size certainly belies his ego.
This title he’s given himself also belies his excuses about Tallahassee doing things behind his back.
A Commander in Chief has full knowledge of whatever goes on in his government, or should. The fact that Trump 45 did NOT, was because of the work of the Deep State, deeply buried in and around his administration. If DeSantis does not have knowledge of the goings on in Tallahassee, as he often insists, is he then acknowledging the active presence of Globalists in his own administration?? If that were the case, I’d think that he and Trump would have a closer bond.
Here are a just a few of the key issues that have fomented in Florida state government under Ron DeSantis, just for a quick stroll down memory lane… :
* the state-wide attacks on America First Republicans, including prohibitions from The Party disallowing association with America First groups, altering agendas and attendance at county meetings, and removal of duly elected representatives;
*the push for solar energy, the Green Scourge, to replace reliable and affordable natural gas, oil and coal AND the stripping of his constituents’ pockets as they try to pay for it. (More on this SOON.)
* the Election Fraud” unit initiated by DeGov, which cannot respond to FOIAs from citizens because they don ‘t take notes. (Meeting when Peter Antonacci died could not be FOIA’d, a citizen was told, for this reason.) Also, the annual budget for Florida’s Office of Election Crimes and Security (OECS) was $1.4 million for the 2023 fiscal year, a roughly 20% increase from its previous $1.1 million. The budget for its first year was approximately $1.2 million, according to AI research. Millions were spent on litigation of a few dozen cases, yet the fines collected were in the low six figures. Wouldn’t the money have been better spent on real election security like ditching the (proven) insecure machines for hand-count voting?
The 336-page report published in 2024, says that the OECS has managed to prove fraud and level fines against third-party voter registration organizations 26 times. That amounted to about $100,000 in fines. Another $34,000 in fines were leveled against political committees for various infractions for petition campaigns, according to the brief. The report paints an upbeat picture of the OECS run under DeSantis-appointed Secretary of State Cord Byrd, but the release shies away from notable missteps by the department.
Was several million of taxpayer dollars spent to remove possibly several dozen “fraudulent” votes?
The report itself is available at the first link in the paragraph above.
I emphasize the OECS because of the tragedy at its beginning, and its budget in comparison to its results. Guess this one got away from Florida’s “Commander in Chief”.
Then, of course, more…
*the “test” paving of Florida roads with radioactive gravel;
*the removal of Peter Feman (Trump sujpporter) from influence at the National Republican Convention last year;
*the long and expensive battle against Disney, after DeGov took control of the Orlando theme park. This occurred, in part, because the Reedy Creek Board sold rights to the Disney property for 30 years, just a few days before his new Central Florida Tourism District took over. Tallahassee’s “not noticing” the legally required posted notices from Reedy Creek was very costly to Floridians. (The matter was finally settled in Florida’s favor after millions were spent on litigation.)
Ok. I’ll stop here. Examples abound, though, of the Sunshine Commander’s unattractive record. Most of this might have been buried in the (radiocactive ?) sands of time except for DeGov’s new declaration of his “power”.
You get my point.
The new Commander-in-Chief coin is a pretty obvious example of Ron DeSantis’s future plans. Many, if not most, of those who know him well, recoil at the notion.
My personal read on the issuance of the new coin, after all I’ve learned about De Gov, can be caught in one word: Pathetic. It would only be “frightening”, if the Deep State decides, somewhere along the line, that he is their best second chance. Or does this coin herald a third-party association with Musk? Stay tuned.
You’d think his loving wife might step in, but Casey DeSantis craves power, apparently, nearly as much as did “Dr.” Jill Biden.
Just sayin’.
